This award recognizes groundbreaking strides towards innovation at Cuberg. With unwavering dedication, their ingenious inventions has recently earned them a coveted patent filing AND/OR secured its rightful place within Cuberg’s trade secret vault.

The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding achievements of degree candidates in any of the Intercollege Graduate Degree Programs (IGDPs) that relate to bringing scholarship to the community in order to benefit society in some manner.

The Millennium Cafe Pitch Competition is an opportunity to pitch your research in two minutes or less using no more than four supporting slides. Graduate students will briefly convey their research to a curious and technically diverse audience.

The recipients of the Post Foundation scholarships are a group of extremely accomplished and outstanding & driven students who excel both inside and outside of their academic role.

This award was created to honor and recognize a graduate student who has exhibited outstanding leadership and service both in and/or outside of the materials science and engineering department.

The Student Program at the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit is a unique opportunity for student energy leaders to engage with companies looking for new talent, as well as learn about new energy initiatives. The graduate-level students selected to participate in the Student Program receive complimentary registration to attend the Summit, participate in student-focused panel sessions, and network with corporate recruiters.

This award was created to honor and to recognize a graduate student in the College of Earth & Mineral Sciences who has performed his or her responsibility as a graduate teaching assistant in an exemplary manner.

The purpose of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is to help ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education.

The Huntington 100 award is given to the 100 most influential undergraduate and graduate students at Northeastern University annually. Students are selected based on excellent academic and judicial standing, exemplary record of service, academic success, global experience, leadership in campus involvement, ability to positively represent the values of Northeastern, and an innovative spirit.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program helps prepare the next generation of clean energy workers by connecting students and recent graduates with Massachusetts companies in need of interns.

The program helps provide Massachusetts clean energy businesses with a talented pool of young professionals, with MassCEC providing stipends for interns during fall, spring and summer sessions, who in turn are given valuable experience they can use as they begin their careers in this quickly-growing sector.
